Around 18, Shay Sweet moved out to California, where she began exotic dancing.
Her first movie began in 1997 and was with Ed Powers (More Dirty Debutantes 65). She became a contract player for Sin City, an adult production company, in 1998; she left Sin City in early 2000. Sweet often worked with fellow Texan Katie Gold, and has starred in over 300 movies with the majority being girl-girl scenes and hardcore heterosexual.
She hasn’t limited herself to simply being a porn star actress, Shay Sweet is also an entrepreneur, opening and owning her own bar in Texas called the Coyote Ugly after retiring from the adult film industry in 2008.
