Although we still have not figured out how Chesty got from Poland to Israel -- and finally to America -- one thing is for sure: It was definitely here that Chesty began her career as a cult film icon.

Due to her "immense" popularity on the strip tease circuit in the 60's, Chesty came to the attention of filmmaker extraordinaire Doris Wishman.

In 1973, Doris cast Chesty in the role of Krystal in the film Deadly Weapons -- which was a smashing success.

In 1974, after having one bout of success with Chesty, Doris again sought her to portray the powerful, yet poignant sleuth in the film Double Agent 73.

In 1976, following her success in Wishman's films, Chesty was asked to appear in the film Casanova -- directed by none other than Frederico Fellini (8 1/2, Satyricon).

Though Chesty only made these three films (to my knowledge), this was not to be the end of her career by any means.

In 1994, Chesty was discovered by a group of Chicago movie freaks who found her to be the end all of camp.

After repeated viewing of Chesty's films, two of Chesty's biggest fans in The Windy City decided that the woman needed to be resurrected and put back into the public spotlight. These two cats, who dub themselves THE BIG TWO" (inspired by Chesty of course) subsequently began a media campaign to end them all!

The efforts of this campaign included the digital sampling of almost every utterance of dialogue from Chesty's films, multiple web sites, a world-wide pamphlet distribution campaign that sought to familiarize the world with Chesty's magic, a global search for Chesty's whereabouts today, music videos that used Chesty's film footage, and finally, a manufactured career that picked up where Chesty left off.

Can you imagine what might have happened if Chesty had hooked up with the B-52's or Alfred Hitchcock?
